Our Goal
To provide a place for Penn State alumni who are living with stroke and aphasia to connect, support each other, share resources, and advocate for aphasia awareness.
What is Aphasia?
Aphasia is a loss of language resulting from stroke or other brain injury. Aphasia affects spoken and writing language, namely… speaking, writing, reading, and/or understanding others, but without loss of intellect.
